Riku stepped forward. “I’ve faced this sort of thing before. I can take care of this myself.”
“No,” said Kairi. “We’ll do it together.”
“All for one and one for all, remember?” said Goofy.
“Yep,” said Sora.
“Don’t hurt him!” Zelda said. “Just fight his darkness.”
They all got in battle positions. Link began a flurry of attacks which Goofy blocked with his trademark shield. Zelda shot a fireball at her former friend hoping to attack the darkness. Donald shot light magic at the darkened hero, and Goofy blocked the attacks fired at them. Sora and Riku attacked with their Keyblades. Samus looked around for the Source. Lucas looked around in feat and confusion as they attacked his old teammate. He ran towards Samus and helped her.
Link weakened after a tough battle, but he was not defeated. “Haha. What makes you think you can defeat us? Prepare for the final blow.” He began to charge up a very powerful attack. Zelda looked around for a possible Smash Ball. If she found one, Link could be saved. The others tried to hold Link down, except for Kairi.
Kairi was starting to emit a bright glow. Light surrounded around her. Zelda looked over. “Kairi!” she yelled. Kairi was covered with light. She was completely bright. Light surrounded her. The Source walked behind Kairi and was about to stop her from interfering with his plans, but it was too late. Kairi shone and knocked the Source back, flipping its hood off. Kairi ran towards Link and let her light shine brighter. Through the light, Zelda saw a Smash Ball appear. She ran under it and used her mystic powers to gain control over it. Her full power surged in her. A Light Arrow appeared in her hands. She aimed towards Link and shot him. So much light consumed the Temple it began to crumble. Kairi brought her power back in and fainted from so much power. Sora grabbed Kairi before she hit the ground. Link put his hand to his head and said, “What happened?” He was back to normal.
Someone applauded behind them. They turned around. “Bravo! Bravo!” he said. The Source was unmasked.
