Here's a foretaste of this episode: PLOT TWIST!!!
The nine approached the castle and saw a multitude of Heartless attempting to break in. “Sora, Kairi, Riku, and Zelda, keep the attack from reaching the castle,” Link ordered. “Donald, Goofy, Lucas, and Samus, come with me and protect Ike, Marth, and Roy. Let’s go.”
“Yes, sir!” they said in unison. And they broke off. Sora and Riku slashed through the various Heartless, while Zelda and Kairi used their power of light to blow off scores of the Heartless. They soon lowered the number of the Heartless so that they could just use basic weapons to slice through the remaining enemies. “Let’s go help Link!” Kairi exclaimed.
Link slashed away some of the Heartless that were in his way. In the corner of his eye, he saw Goofy knock some away with his shield, Donald shock the Heartless with thunder, Samus shooting with charged shots, and Lucas raining comets on the darkness. Link rushed in, knocking down a small door to get in. He rushed up to the highest point of the tower. He saw the three swordsmen defending themselves from small Heartless. Link used his boomerang to vanquish the enemies. They met together and thought the battle inside the castle was over until a shrouded figure appeared behind them.
Lucas jumped and asked it, “Who are you?”
The figure merely laughed. “My name is of no importance. You just need to know that this world will be taken over very soon by the Heartless. So if you’ll excuse me.” The man kicked the Master Sword out of Link’s hands and brought Link into the dark portal with him in a blink of an eye. “Link!” yelled Donald as he shot fire at the portal. But it was too late.
The four ground fighters appeared right then. “Where’s Link?” asked Zelda.
Lucas answered, “He was taken by the Source.”
