Kingdom Hearts Meets Super Smash Bros. Ep.3: The Source

The Source looked at the screen that showed the status of the Smash World. The Darkside had fallen. The Source walked out of the Frigate Orpheon and entered the portal to the Final Destination where he had first entered this blasted place. The Heartless swarmed towards him, but the Source had no need for them yet. He needed to frame another Mystery Smasher like It was. The Key Defenders would fall short to realize the fraud. “Go know,” said the Source. He would follow and see the show up close and personal.

“So there’s a life force who is leading the Darkness here and we need to fight it,” Link tried to figure out.

“That’s right,” said Sora. Suddenly, a black portal appeared. A spiked figure almost like a turtle exited from there. “A Corridor of Darkness,” Sora breathed.

“Bowser,” Link growled. “What do you want?”

Without an answer, Heartless seeped from the Corridor. “The Source,” breathed Zelda. Without warning, Lucas’ eyes became red and comets began raining down on the antagonists. All of a sudden, the red-hatted man sprang on Bowser, who in turn pummeled the red-hatted man into the wall. Sora summoned his Keyblade and said, “Leave them alone you horned toad!”

“Actually,” Link started. “He’s more like a tur-”

“I know what I said!”

Bowser roared. Sora got into a battle stance. Something’s not right here, he thought. Usually there’s more enemies to be fought and it takes hours. Shield rays appeared on the sides of them, enclosing the boundaries with only Bowser and Sora inside. Bowser charged forward and Sora swung, knocking Bowser back. Bowser sprayed fire at Sora. It burned Sora. Bowser swung his arm, but Sora counterattacked. Bowser leaped in the air, dropping like a rock on Sora, who flew back. Sora was heavily weakened. Suddenly, a sphere appeared and fell from the sky in front of Sora. Sora touched it and felt power rush within him. His Keyblade pointed forward and powerful jets of light emitted from the Keyblade. Sora screamed, “Ragnarok!” The jets pushed on Bowser and he flew backwards. He was out of stamina.

“Grrrrrrrrrrrr…” Bowser said. Bowser uttered growls and roars and groans. A green-hatted man taller the one in red translated came and translated, “What do you want?”

Sora replied, “Aren’t you the one who’s bringing darkness to this world?”

“No,” the green-hatted man translated.

“Then who did?!” Sora looked around. On a balcony, a figure in dark armor looked down upon them. And behind him, a portal of darkness.

“HIM!” yelled Sora. He pointed towards the ominous being. Before anyone got a clearer picture of him, he vanished.

“What was it?” Sora asked himself.
