Kingdom Hearts Meets Super Smash Bros. Ep.6: Finding Link

“Oh, no,” said Zelda. “Perhaps we can check Hyrule? It’s where we come from. Ganondorf, too. Oh, I can’t believe he’s gone!”

“Zelda!” Kairi said. “If Sora, Donald, and Goofy could find me-”

“Me, too,” Riku coughed.

“Then we can find Link,” assured Kairi.

“Okay,” said Zelda as she breathed in and out to calm down.

“We’ll try Hyrule,” Sora said. “I don’t know where else to check.”

They traveled to the Temple of Hyrule while fighting considerably small Heartless. They soon reached Hyrule Temple. The temple had stained glass displaying a mystical legend and a beautiful exterior.

“Well hello!” a voice said from the top of a steeple. The Key Defenders and co. looked up. “I’m afraid I’m not ready for you yet. However, I may not need to face you after all.” With that, the shrouded Source snapped his fingers and disappeared. Samus tried to hit the Source with a charged shot from her hand cannon, but the source disappeared too soon for her. The steeple crumbled a little, and part of it fell to the ground. In front of them, a giant beast began to configure. It had a hard looking armor plated on its frame, but it didn’t prove much of a threat.

“Xehanort should have been more creative and thorough with his Heartless development,” Sora said.

The eight walked into the remains of the Temple (the battle got a little dirty). The interior must have been beautiful before, but now the stained glass was shattered and the lamps were broken and lying on the ground. They searched for Link and came across a room that was not destroyed in any way.

“Good day, Key Defenders and the Protectors of the Smash World. What a wonderful job you have done protecting this world from me! After all, you let me corrupt your friend, Link!” As soon as the Source said that in pitch black darkness, a spotlight came on a dark Link.

“No!” Zelda breathed.

“The Smash World shall never be the same. We will unleash a power the Subspace Emissary never knew of! It’s over, Zelda. It’s over,” Link said.
