Annoucements

Here's another little variety post that you seldom see on Adam's (aka Pianoman's) blog.

First bit of news: As vacation is coming to a close, I'll be presenting a new multi-part series coming soon. Because some things will require more detail than others, I have NO IDEA how long this will last!!!!!!! I hope you'll enjoy it when it begins (I also have no idea when)!

Second bit of news: I am working on two books simultaneously right now. One is a science fiction novel (I don't want to give away too much away as of yet). The other book is actually a sequel to one of my short stories The Knight's Pursuit. It is like Morte d'Arthur in the way of its setting, but the similarities end there as of now. Both books are untitled. More information will be released.

I think that's all for now! Hope to hear from you readers in the comments!

POTC 4

That's right. It has been officially announced. Pirates of the Caribbean is adding a brand new installment into the series with some of your favorite characters. 'Wait,' you're probably thinking. 'Did you say "Some?" Yes, I did. The Turner trilogy is over, thus the Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann characters will not be returning, as long as those who deceased in the Turner trilogy. But never fear, everyone's favorite pirate, Captain Jack Sparrow (along with Barbossa) will be returning for the brand new film, along with new characters like Blackbeard.

What is the story? At the conclusion of At World's End, it showed a cliffhanger epilogue in which Jack steals most of Barbossa's map to the fountain of youth. In the sequel, it shows us Barbossa and Jack's expedition to the fountain and encountering Blackbeard whose beat them to the punch.

When is it coming out? According to Wikipedia, it is planned to come out around May 20, 2011 with filming starting this month.

And in all irony I save this for last- What is it called? It is named Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. It is apparently loosely based off of the pirate novel, On Stranger Tides with some obvious changes.

This is so exciting that I will be sure to keep updated on this subject. So long!
